National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is on September 30, also commonly recognized as Orange Shirt Day. On Orange Shirt Day/National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, people wear orange to show support for the healing journey of Residential School Survivors and their families, and honour and remember the children who never came home. Learn more about the history of Orange Shirt Day  and Phyllis (Jack) Webstad’s story .

To honour this day, PDSB students and staff are taking the time to deepen their learning journey and participating in events and activities throughout the month of September and beyond.
