The student lodging program recognize and respect the diversity of students’ cultures, heritages, traditions as well as their connection to their local communities.

Student lodgings provide opportunities for family engagement throughout the school year and parents/guardians and the student’s family members are encouraged to be involved in the student lodging family programs while their child is staying in student lodging.

The student lodging program is most effective when there is ongoing partnership and communication between the student lodging and home regarding student well-being, behaviour and expectations that is open, courteous and focused on student success.

Students are encouraged to have regular contact with family members and friends during the week by phone, email, texting. Staff are in close contact with students’ parents/guardians on a weekly basis and parents are encouraged to call at any time. Parents/guardians are always welcome to visit the lodging to see their child’s accomplishments.
