At the beginning of each school year, student development plans are written for each lodging student, with input from the student, their parents/guardians, student support counselors, and teachers. Goals included in these plans include homework skills, self-advocacy, self regulation, perseverance, independent living skills, volunteer opportunities, goal setting, post-secondary planning, financial planning, community service hours, accessing community supports, executive skills, etc.
The student development plan for each student includes a midterm review and a final review with the student and their parent/guardian.
